The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has unveiled the venues for India’s highly anticipated tour of England in 2025. The series will feature Test matches held at renowned grounds including Lord’s, The Oval, Edgbaston, Headingley, and Old Trafford. In an interesting development, the ECB has also disclosed its venue plans for a span of seven years, encompassing the period from 2025 to 2031.
As per the International Cricket Council’s Future Tours Programme, India is scheduled to embark on their tour of England in June 2025 for a challenging five-Test series. Traditionally, India and England have engaged in 5-Test series once every two years, alternating between home and away fixtures.

Furthermore, the Board has shared details about the venues for the 2029 series against India. In this upcoming series, Headingley will make way for Southampton as a venue, while the other four grounds will remain unchanged. It is worth noting that England has opted to announce venue allocations for a seven-year period instead of the usual five years.
India’s upcoming tour of the UK in 2025 will provide them with an opportunity to rekindle their ambition of conquering England. The Indian team will engage in a challenging five-match test series against the English cricket team. Following their triumph on English soil in 2007, India has been unable to secure another victory, but they are determined to break the streak during their next tour of England.
