The IPL 2025 is currently suspended for a week due to the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan. But, till now, fans have witnessed some outstanding bowling spells which have set the tone for those matches.

Here are the top three bowling spells from IPL 2025 so far:

Mitchell Starc (DC), 5/35 vs SRH

Mitchell Starc put up a fiery show against SRH, dismissing Travis Head, Ishan Kishan, and Nitish Reddy, considered the core of SRH’s batting lineup. Later, he also took the wickets of Wiaan Mulder and Harshal Patel, securing his first-ever T20 five-wicket haul. He finished with figures of 5/35 and was adjudged the Player of the Match for this performance.

Hardik Pandya (MI), 5/36 vs LSG

Hardik put in a brilliant performance against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 16th match of IPL 2025. He first dismissed the dangerous Nicholas Pooran, who was in good form, and then got his counterpart Rishabh Pant out. In the 18th over, he took the wicket of Aiden Markram, who was the second-highest scorer of the match. In the final over, he dismissed David Miller and Akash Deep on consecutive deliveries. However, his effort went in vain as MI lost the game.

Mohammed Siraj (GT), 4/17 vs SRH

Siraj bowled a match-winning spell against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), taking 4/17 in his four overs with an economy rate of 4.20. He dismissed both big guns — Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head — cheaply. He then took the wicket of the in-form youngster Aniket Verma and also removed tail-ender Simarjeet Singh. Siraj is in excellent form this IPL and looks dangerous with every ball he bowls. He was adjudged the Player of the Match for his performance.
