The 2025 IPL season is on the verge of reaching the halfway stage, and it has been nothing less than promising so far from all the teams. Four teams have already played seven games, with the others remaining by one. Delhi Capitals (DC), which was not even in the top five last season, is currently leading with 10 points, while a team like Chennai Super Kings (CSK) sits at the bottom. DC added two points from yesterday’s win against the Rajasthan Royals (RR), who are currently in the eighth spot with four points.

Gujarat Titans (GT) are no longer in the first spot with eight points. The top spot has now been taken by DC. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are at the third spot with eight points, followed by Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) next. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) remain in the sixth spot with six points. Mumbai Indians (MI), RR, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and CSK are the bottom four with four points each.

IPL 2025- Orange Cap List

MI’s Suyakumar Yadav is quite close to making himself add to the top five of the list of the Orange Cap Leaderboard with 239 runs as of now. LSG’s Nicholas Pooran, however, maintains the lead with 357 runs. GT’s opener, Sai Sudharshan, with 329 runs, is next, followed by LSG’s Mitchell Marsh with 295 runs. PBKS Shreyas Iyer continues at number four with 250 runs. The skipper failed to add any runs against KKR. RCB’s Virat Kohli, with 248 runs, is settled in the fifth spot.

IPL 2025 – Purple Cap List

The list has changed a bit, but CSK’s Noor Ahmed remains in the lead with 12 wickets. Adding one from yesterday, DC’s Kuldeep Yadav is now at number two, dismissing CSK’s Khaleel Ahmed a spot below. Both are currently with 11 wickets each. LSG’s Shardul Thakur is also in the battle with 11 wickets. Another addition in the fourth rank comes from DC’s Mitchell Starc. The bowler now joins forces with MI’s Hardik Pandya, GT’s Prasidh Krishna, Sai Kishore, Mohammed Siraj, KKR’s Varun Chakravarthy and Harshit Rana, respectively, with 10 wickets each.
