
Gujarat Titans (GT) continued their fine form in IPL 2025 with a win over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) yesterday. They impressed in both the batting and bowling departments, with standout performances from Shubman Gill, Jos Buttler, Sai Sudharsan, Prasidh Krishna, and Mohammed Siraj.
Abhishek Sharma fought valiantly for SRH with an innings of 74 off 41 balls, but he couldn’t chase down the target of 225. As a result, SRH remain in ninth place on the points table, while GT have moved up to second.
IPL 2025 Points Table
Mumbai Indians (MI), in dominant form, remain at the top with 14 points. They are followed by GT and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), who also have 14 points each. The competition for the top spot is intense, with positions shifting daily. Punjab Kings (PBKS) occupy fourth place with 13 points, followed by Delhi Capitals (DC) in fifth with 12. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are in sixth with 10 points. The bottom four teams, in order, are Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rajasthan Royals (RR), SRH, and Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

IPL 2025 – Orange Cap List
Three GT players now dominate the Orange Cap leaderboard. Sai Sudharsan has regained the top spot with 504 runs, pushing MI’s Suryakumar Yadav to second with 475 runs. GT’s Jos Buttler is in third with 470 runs, followed by Shubman Gill in fourth with 465. RCB’s Virat Kohli rounds out the top five with 443 runs.

IPL 2025 – Purple Cap List
GT’s Prasidh Krishna has reclaimed the lead with 19 wickets after taking two more in yesterday’s match. RCB’s Josh Hazlewood is second with 18 wickets. MI’s Trent Boult sits third with 16, followed by CSK’s Noor Ahmad with 15. CSK’s Khaleel Ahmed, GT’s Mohammed Siraj, and DC’s Mitchell Starc follow with 14 wickets each.
