Yesterday’s IPL 2025 match ended with no result. The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) vs Punjab Kings (PBKS) match came to an end after a sudden thunderstorm prevailed on the field leading to a force stop. It was after the first over of the second innings and KKR were at 7-0 with Sunil Narine and Rahmanullah Gurbaz in the middle. PBKS batters, however, did their job in the first innings, setting up a target score of 202 for KKR to achieve. However, both were awarded one point each. PBKS have now moved up to number four spot with 11 points while KKR remain at number seven with seven points.

Gujarat Titans (GT), Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) remain stagnant in the top three with 12 points each. Following them are now PBKS. Mumbai Indians (MI) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) with 10 points each are in fifth and sixth spots respectively. The order of the three bottom teams have changed with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at number eight spot, Rajasthan Royals (RR) at number nine spot and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as the last team in the points table.

IPL 2025- Orange Cap List

GT’s Sai Sudharsan, with 417 runs, is currently leading the race and facing tough competition from RCB’s Virat Kohli who is behind him less than 25 runs at the second spot with 392 runs. LSG’s Nicholas Pooran remains at number three spot with 377 runs. MI’s Suryakumar Yadav with 373 runs is at number four spot followed by GT’s Jos Buttler at number five spot with 356 runs.

IPL 2025 – Purple Cap List

GT’s Prasidh Krishna and RCB’s Josh Hazlewood are competing against each other for the top spot with 16 wickets each. For now, the purple cap belongs to Krishna. CKS’s Noor Ahmad is looking forward to take back his lead soon with 14 wickets. Another major change saw SRH’s Harshal Patel taking the number four spot with 13 wickets. GT’s Sai Kishore, DC’s Kuldeep Yadav, MI’s Hardik Pandya, RCB’s Krunal Pandya, RCB’s Krunal Pandya, GT’s Mohammed Siraj, CSK’s Khaleel Ahmed, and LSG’s Shardul Thakur, all are currently with 12 wickets.
