It was a thrilling performance from the Punjab Kings (PBKS) players in their win over the Mumbai Indians (MI) yesterday. Josh Inglis, Priyansh Arya, and captain Shreyas Iyer stood out during the successful chase. With this win, PBKS are now back at the top of the table and have secured a place in Qualifier 1. MI, on the other hand, will now play in the Eliminator.

PBKS now lead the table with 19 points and a net run rate of +0.372, pushing Gujarat Titans (GT) to second place. GT have 18 points, followed by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in third with 17 points. MI are in fourth with 16 points. RCB still have one game left and a chance to reach the top.

The teams that have been eliminated start with Delhi Capitals (DC), who are in fifth place with 15 points. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are in sixth with 13 points. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are seventh with 12 points, followed by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in eighth, also with 12 points. Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) finish at the bottom with eight points each.

IPL 2025 – Orange Cap List

GT’s Sai Sudharsan continues to lead the Orange Cap race with 679 runs. His teammate and captain, Shubman Gill, is close behind in second with 649 runs. MI’s Suryakumar Yadav is third with 640 runs. LSG’s Mitchell Marsh is in fourth with 560 runs, followed by RR’s Yashasvi Jaiswal in fifth with 559 runs.

IPL 2025 – Purple Cap List

CSK’s Noor Ahmed still holds the Purple Cap with 24 wickets. GT’s Prasidh Krishna is in second place with 23 wickets. MI’s Trent Boult, who didn’t take a wicket yesterday, stays in third with 19 wickets. RCB’s Josh Hazlewood is fourth with 18 wickets. PBKS’s Arshdeep Singh also has 18 wickets and takes the fifth spot based on economy rate.
