
It was a nail-biting finish in the final overs of yesterday’s big clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). RCB claimed victory by just two runs, with Yash Dayal bowling terrifically under pressure. Shivam Dube and Ravindra Jadeja couldn’t turn things in CSK’s favour. CSK remain at the bottom of the table with no hope of making the playoffs this time.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are now leading the points table with 16 points. Behind them are the Mumbai Indians (MI) and Gujarat Titans (GT), occupying the second and third spots respectively, with 14 points each. Punjab Kings (PBKS) are in fourth place with 13 points, while Delhi Capitals (DC) sit fifth with 12 points. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) follow in sixth with 10 points. The list continues with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and CSK still unchanged at the bottom.

Virat Kohli currently holds the Orange Cap with 505 runs, just one run ahead of Sudharsan, who has 504 runs. MI’s Suryakumar Yadav has slipped to third with 475 runs. GT’s Jos Buttler is in fourth with 470 runs, followed by his teammate Shubman Gill in fifth place with 465 runs.

GT’s Prasidh Krishna remains on top with 19 wickets. RCB’s Josh Hazlewood is second with 18 wickets. CSK’s Noor Ahmad and MI’s Trent Boult are tied in third and fourth spots, respectively, with 16 wickets each. RCB’s Krunal Pandya, GT’s Mohammed Siraj, DC’s Mitchell Starc, and CSK’s Khaleel Ahmed all follow with 14 wickets apiece.
