The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) stood victorious in their home ground yesterday after defeating the Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 11 runs. Since the start of this season, RCB have remained dominant in their gameplay and have taken big wins in hopes of bagging their maiden IPL trophy. RR, on the other hand, remain in the eighth spot after this loss.

Gujarat Titans (GT) and Delhi Capitals (DC) are still the top two teams with 12 points each. Joining them now are the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the third spot with 12 points. Mumbai Indians (MI) follow next in the fourth spot with 10 points, along with Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) with 10 points each. Last year’s champions, but this time, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have been under inconsistent and, now, at number seven. Rajasthan Royals (RR), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) remain constant as the bottom three teams.

IPL 2025- Orange Cap List

GT’s Sai Sudharsan, with 417 run,s is still the Orange cap holder. For a change, it’s RCB’s star and veteran batter, Virat Kohli, at the number two spot with 392 runs. His consistency in terms of batting has been highly promising. LSG’s Nicholas Pooran is now down to the number three spot with 377 runs. MI’s Suryakumar Yadav is next at number four with 373 runs. GT’s Jos Buttler takes the number five spot with 356 runs.

IPL 2025 – Purple Cap List

GT’s Prasidh Krishna remains in the top spot with 16 wickets. But now in the second spot, it is RCB’s Josh Hazlewood. His four-fer in yesterday’s match against RR turned things in RCB’s favour, with them ending up winning. GT’s Sai Kishore, CSK’s Noor Ahmed, DC’s Kuldeep Yadav, MI’s Hardik Pandya, RCB’s Krunal Pandya, GT’s Mohammed Siraj and LSG’s Shardul Thakur all fall next in line, respectively, with 12 wickets each.
