Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) defeated the Gujarat Titans (GT) in Lucknow while Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) registered a win over Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Hyderabad. On both occasions, home teams won in front of their home crowd. But, most importantly, the highlight was the way SRH managed to pull off the second-highest successful chase in this competition’s history.

Delhi Capitals (DC) is now in the first spot with eight points. GT and LSG are in the second and third spot respectively with eight points each. Then, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the fourth spot followed by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), and PBKS. These teams are now tied with six points each. In the seventh spot, Rajasthan Royals (RR) are there with four points. The bottom three spots of the table saw some major changes with SRH taking the eighth spot with four points. The Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are now the bottom two teams with two points each.

IPL 2025- Orange Cap List

LSG’s Nicholas Pooran continues to remain at the top of the Orange Cap leaderboard with 349 runs. He added 61 runs from yesterday’s clash against GT. Behind him is GT’s Sai Sudharshan with a total of 329 runs. After Sai, there is LSG’s Mitchell Marsh with 265 runs. The fourth spot is now claimed by the PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer with 250 runs after his 82-run knock against SRH. GT’s Jos Buttler remains in the fifth spot with 218 runs.

IPL 2025 – Purple Cap List

CSK’s Noor Ahmed remains at the first spot in the Purple Cap leaderboard with 12 wickets. LSG’s Shardul Thakur is now in the second spot with 11 wickets. MI’s Hardik Pandya, GT’s Sai Kishore, Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj and CSK’s Khaleel Ahmed are currently with 10 wickets each jointly sharing the third spot.
