Ireland is set to tour Bangladesh for a two-match Test series and a three-match T20I series, scheduled to take place in November–December 2025. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) released the itinerary on Saturday.

According to the schedule, Ireland will arrive in Bangladesh on 6 November. The visitors will begin their campaign with the first Test at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, starting on 11 November. The second Test is scheduled to be played from 19–23 November at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.

This series will mark the first-ever full Test series between Bangladesh and Ireland.

The two teams have faced each other in this format only once before, in April 2023 in Mirpur, where Bangladesh claimed a seven-wicket win.

After the Tests, the action will shift to Chattogram for a three-match T20I series at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Cricket Stadium. All three T20Is will be played in Chattogram. The series will begin on 27 November, followed by the second T20I on 29 November, and the third on 2 December.

At home, Mushfiqur Rahim — who has played 98 Tests for Bangladesh to date — is on course to reach his 100th Test in Mirpur. If fit and available, the experienced wicketkeeper-batter is expected to feature in both Tests of the series. He will become the first Bangladeshi cricketer to achieve the milestone of playing 100 Tests.
