From leading India as captain in the 2016 U-19 World Cup to smashing a double century in ODIs, Ishan Kishan’s journey has been remarkable. Known for his aggressive batting and electrifying energy behind the stumps, the wicketkeeper-batter has made a name for himself in both international cricket and the IPL. As he turns 27, the cricketing world has come together to celebrate the birthday of this rising star.

Since making his senior team debut in 2021, Kishan has consistently impressed with his fearless approach and his ability to take on any bowling attack. He has also been a key player for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL, delivering several match-winning knocks at the top of the order. Currently, he is a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL.

He has played 61 international matches so far across all three formats. He scored the fastest double century in ODI cricket history in just 126 balls against Bangladesh in Chattogram in 2022.
