All-rounder, Cameron Green, acknowledged the significant threat posed by the in-form Virat Kohli ahead of the India-Australia World Test Championship final to be played at the Oval from June 7.
“Virat Kohli. I think he always tries to be the man to stand up in big moments,” Green told ICC ahead of the WTC Final against India. “A World Test Championship is obviously a massive moment, so I look forward to that.”
Kohli, a key player for India, is determined to secure the World Test Championship title after narrowly missing out in 2021. The veteran batter has also regained his form across all formats of the game, making him a huge threat in the summit clash. Recently, he cracked an impressive 186 against Australia in the Ahmedabad Test, and finished as the fourth highest run-getter in IPL 2023.
