Kohli First to 7000 IPL runs

On Saturday, Virat Kohli of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) became the first player to reach 7000 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Kohli, who led the franchise nearly a decade, reached the milestone during the match against Delhi Capitals (DC), where he required 12 runs to achieve the feat. It was his 232nd appearance in the competition.
 
The only other batters to have scored more than 6000 runs in the IPL are Shikhar Dhawan, David Warner, and Rohit Sharma. Kohli has recorded 49 fifties and five centuries in the IPL, with his highest score being 113.

 Kohli also reached the landmark of 1000 runs against Delhi in the same match, making him the first batter to reach the milestone against the team.
