Yash Dhull, the captain of India A team in the Emerging Teams Asia Cup, shared his thoughts on his special connection with the star batter, Virat Kohli. Dhull talked about how he has gained valuable insights into Kohli’s mindset and aggressive approach to the game while playing alongside him.
Both hailing from Delhi, Kohli and Yash have previously led their respective U-19 national teams to World Cup victories in 2008 and 2022.
“I have had the opportunity to meet him two or three times. Virat (Kohli) bhaiya appears different on TV, but he is different when interacting with me. So, we share a unique bond. I have learned a lot from him, including his aggression and the way he approaches batting. Interacting with him has been a great learning experience,” Yash Dhull said during an interview on ‘Follow the Blues’ on Star Sports.
In the ongoing Emerging Teams Asia Cup, Yash has showcased his batting skills by scoring a magnificent century against the UAE, contributing to his team’s comfortable eight-wicket victory.
