Mumbai Indians (MI) will lock horns with Gujarat Titans (GT) in the ongoing IPL 2025, and ahead of that clash, Suryakumar Yadav and Rashid Khan were seen having a funny banter where they talked about their signature shots. In a video that went viral and was posted by MI on their social media, Surya was heard saying to Rashid, “Aap snake maro… snake shot maro toh woh chalta hai… aap karo to dance aur hum kare to….” Then Mohammed Siraj came from the side and added, “Belly dance.” All three players were seen in a jovial mood.
Suryakumar Yadav is known for his innovative shots and his ability to hit all around the ground, earning him the title of “India’s 360° player.” Rashid Khan, primarily a bowler, is also a dangerous pinch-hitter. Throughout his career, both internationally and in the IPL, he has played several important innings for his teams. He has made the ‘snake shot’—which he plays using power from his bottom hand—quite famous.

Both MI and GT are still in contention for the playoffs
In the IPL, Surya has clearly dominated Rashid, facing 64 balls from him and scoring 91 runs without getting dismissed even once, at a strike rate of 142.2. Rashid has bowled only 19 dot balls out of the 64 he has delivered to Surya.
Today’s match between these two teams at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai is crucial for both teams, as they look to inch closer to the playoffs. Not only that, but the winner of this match will also move up to the second spot on the points table.
