The Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 Qualifier is set to be hosted by Nepal and will run from 12 January to 2 February. All matches will take place at the Lower Mulpani Cricket Stadium and the Upper Mulpani Cricket Stadium in Kathmandu.

The schedule of the tournament will be announced later by the ICC.

Over ten teams will compete in the Qualifiers for four available spots in the World Cup, which will be held in England and Wales from 12 June to 5 July next year. As of now, five teams have already secured their place — Ireland and Bangladesh from the 2024 T20 World Cup, Thailand and Nepal from the Asia Qualifiers, and the USA from the Americas Qualifier.

The remaining five teams will qualify through other regional qualifiers — two each from the Africa and Europe regions, and one from the East Asia-Pacific region.

The Qualifier tournament will divide the ten teams into two groups of five. The top six teams from the group stage will advance to the Super Six stage, which will be played ahead of the final.

For the first time in the tournament’s history, the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup will feature 12 participating teams.

The schedule for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 has been finalised. It will be held from 12 June to 5 July, featuring 33 matches over 24 days across seven venues, including Old Trafford, Headingley, the Ageas Bowl, and the Bristol County Ground. The final will be played at Lord’s.
