While playing the second ODI of Pakistan’s 2025 tour of New Zealand at Seddon Park, Naseem Shah surprised the home team with a stunning 51 off 44 balls. Even though Pakistan lost by 84 runs chasing 293, Naseem’s 4 fours and 4 sixes with a strike rate of 115.91 reflected his efforts.
Shoaib Akhtar – 43 (16) vs England (2003)
In the 2003 ICC World Cup encounter in Cape Town, Shoaib Akhtar smashed 43 off 16 deliveries against England. His innings, with 5 fours and 3 sixes at an incredible 268.75 strike rate, created late thrill. Pakistan, however, was dismissed for 134, losing by 112 runs.
