Patidar’s whirlwind hundred the highlight of Madhya Pradesh’s drawn game against Haryana

Haryana v Madhya Pradesh

At the Holkar Stadium in Indore, Madhya Pradesh’s Rajat Patidar crunched a blazing 102-ball 155, but their game versus Haryana ended in a draw. Haryana, however, collected three points on the back of taking the first innings lead of 132. Haryana scored 440 after MP were snuffed out for 308 in their first innings. MP declared their second innings at 308 for 4 while Haryana responded with 115 for 3 in 38 overs.

Tripura vs Mumbai

On the basis of eking out an innings lead, Mumbai took three points against Tripura in an Elite Group game played in Agartala. Tripura scored 302 in response to Mumbai’s first-innings total of 450. In the second dig, in pursuit of a target of 272, they mustered 48 for no loss as the match ended in a stalemate. 

Bihar vs Karnataka

Karnataka posted a thumping 8-wicket victory over Bihar in Patna, collecting six points. The victory came on the back of Shreyas Gopal  and Vyshak Vijaykumar bagging seven wickets between them as the opponent folded up for 212 in the second essay. Karnataka then chased down the paltry target of 68 in just over 10 overs. For Bihar, Sakibul Gani cracked a valiant 130. 

Jharkhand vs Chandigarh

Chandigarh also registered a crushing 10-wicket victory over Jharkhand. Nishunk Birla, Vishu Kashyap and Raj Bawa bagged nine wickets between them, with Jharkhand collapsing to 130 all out. Chandigarh then overhauled the target of 43 in a mere four overs.

Tamil Nadu vs Chhattisgarh

Vijay Shankar’s undefeated 106 ensured Tamil Nadu salvaged a draw versus Chhattisgarh at Coimbatore. TN, who were made to follow-on after being bundled for 259 in reply to Chhattisgarh’s 500, compiled 264 for 4 in the second innings. Chhattisgarh took home three points on the back of their innings lead.

Maharashtra vs Meghalaya

Mukesh Choudhary’s four-wicket haul turned out to be the cornerstone of Maharashtra’s 10-wicket victory over Meghalaya in Aurangabad. Pradeep Dadhe and Rajneesh Gurbni also took two scalps apiece. Meghalaya was cleaned up for only 185 in their second innings, with Maharashtra scoring 104 in just under 22 overs. 

Rajasthan vs Gujarat

Umang Kumar’s undefeated 153 and Jaymeet Patel’s 82 helped Gujarat to not just recover from a precarious position but also take the side to safe waters as they drew their game versus Rajasthan. Gujarat were at 84 for 4 when the duo joined forces. The pair then stitched a stand of 153. Meanwhile, Kukna Ajay Singh took 5 for 107 for Rajasthan. Gujarat bagged three points as they had eked out an innings lead.

Manipur vs Mizoram

KC Cariappa and Mohit Jangra combined to pick up seven wickets between them as Mizoram bowled out Manipur for a mere 246 runs to seal a massive victory by an innings and 20 runs. KC Cariappa also scalped nine wickets in the game.

Goa vs Nagaland

At one point of time, Nagaland were looking good to chase down the target of 339 against Goa. However, they hurtled down from 175 for 1 to 255 all out, with Goa winning by 83 runs. Darshan Misal took five wickets, with Rahul Mehta picking up a three-for.
