Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will lock horns with Delhi Capitals (DC) in today’s IPL 2025 clash in Bengaluru. Top players from both teams will be in action. DC are currently in the second spot with six points in three games while RCB are in the third spot with six points in four games. But some familiar names in the DC camp have played for RCB earlier in the IPL.

Here are the three current DC players who have played for RCB in the IPL

KL Rahul

KL Rahul made his IPL debut with RCB in 2013 but played only five games, scoring 20 runs. Then, he made a comeback to the franchise in 2016 where he scored 397 runs in 14 games, at an average of 44.11 with a strike rate of 46.49 including four fifties.

Mitchell Starc

With nine wickets taken so far, Micthell Starc will not be a stranger to the Chinnaswamy ground as a former player of the RCB. Starc was part of the 2014 and 2015 season. The 2015 season saw him giving his best with 20 wickets in 13 games. In those two seasons, he picked up 34 wickets in 27 games.

Faf du Plessis

Faf du Plessis played three major seasons alongside Virat Kohli in RCB from 2022 to 2024. He even led the team and in those three seasons, he scored 1636 runs in 45 matches, including 15 fifties. As of now, he is one of the players in IPL to have scored 4000 more runs but without a century. He has successfully scored 58 fifties though.
