Renuka Singh, the pace bowler, and Richa Ghosh, the wicket-keeper, have been left out of the 18-member Indian limited-overs squads for the tour of Bangladesh. Additionally, talented off-spinner Shreyanka Patil was also overlooked for the tour.
India has also made the decision to exclude senior players like Shikha Pandey, Radha Yadav, and Rajeshwari Gayakwad from the squad, opting for an inexperienced spin attack. In their place, the team has included newcomers: Uma Chetry, Rashi Kanojiya, Anusha Bareddy, and Minnu Mani.
The Indian women’s team is scheduled to play three T20Is and three ODIs against Bangladesh.
