Rohit Sharma, the skipper of the Indian cricket team across all formats, has conveyed his eagerness to take part in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, scheduled for the United States of America and the Caribbean. Notably, Rohit has been absent from T20I matches for the national squad since the T20 World Cup 2022 in November.

Following the 2022 T20 World Cup, India has been led by Hardik Pandya, accompanied by the introduction of new faces into the squad.

“More than just going and enjoying, there is another reason to come here (in the USA). Because you know the World Cup is coming. In June, there will be the T20 World Cup (2024) happening in this part of the world. So, I’m pretty sure everyone is excited. So, we look forward to that,” Rohit mentioned during the event in the USA.
