Rajasthan Royals (RR) will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the 28th match of IPL 2025 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on April 13. RCB will don their “Green Jersey” for this match. This tradition began in 2011 to spread awareness about planting more trees and reducing global warming.

RCB captain Rajat Patidar said: “We take it one game at a time. If everyone is confident, we look to make the most of it. We’ll focus on playing good cricket, not focus on which venue it is. It’s a special game for us with our green initiative, and wearing the green jersey makes it even more special and exciting.”

Speaking on this topic, Rajesh Menon, COO, of Royal Challengers Bengaluru, said: “For us it is about being bold, both on and off the pitch. Our green jerseys are more than just a symbol; they are a call to action. As proud representatives of the Garden City, sustainability is a natural priority for us. Through this initiative, we aim to leverage the cultural and social power of RCB to drive awareness and inspire fans to take small steps towards conservation.”
