The Shrachi Group has taken legal action against the promoters of Rajasthan United Football Club following the collapse of their investment deal. This deal, which was supposed to bring substantial resources to the Rajasthan-based club, fell apart after the terms were renegotiated post-signing. Tensions heightened during a press conference in Delhi, where disruptions reportedly led to what Shrachi calls an extortion attempt. In response, the group has issued legal notices and contacted the All India Football Federation (AIFF) to address the issue.
Despite the legal battle, Shrachi remains determined and is exploring other opportunities within Indian football. They are reportedly in discussions with several I-League clubs, indicating their intention to form an independent team for the upcoming season. This move demonstrates Shrachi’s confidence and commitment to establishing a strong presence in Indian football despite the current challenges.
