SL vs BAN: Bangladesh Set for All-Format Tour of Sri Lanka from June 17 to July 16

Bangladesh will embark on a month-long tour of Sri Lanka from June 17 to July 16, during which they will play all three formats of the game. The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) board confirmed the itinerary in a media statement on Monday, May 5.

The series will kick off with two Test matches—starting with the opener in Galle on June 17, followed by the second Test at Colombo’s Sinhalese Sports Club from June 25.

After the red-ball leg, focus will turn to white-ball cricket. The ODI leg comprises three day-night fixtures, with the first two matches set to be played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, and the final ODI shifting to Pallekele.

The tour will conclude with a three-match T20I series. The first T20I will also be held in Pallekele, before the teams move to Dambulla and Colombo for the final two matches.

“Bangladesh National Men’s Team will tour Sri Lanka during the months of June – July 2025 to engage in a bilateral series with Sri Lanka. During the tour, the Bangladesh National Team will play two test matches, three ODIs and three T20Is, respectively,” the SLC stated in its official release.
