The Ranji Trophy is starting on October 15, and before the season starts, speedster Umran Malik has made his comeback into the Jammu and Kashmir squad after a long break due to injury. This will not only give the team a morale boost but also strengthen their bowling department.

Umran rose to limelight when he consistently clocked speeds in excess of 150 kph in the IPL while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He has played 12 first-class matches, taking 16 wickets. The 25-year-old was very impressive in the 2022 IPL when he took 22 wickets in 14 matches.

Other than Umran, the team also features players who are familiar faces in the domestic circuit and the IPL.
