Mumbai City is thrilled to announce the acquisition of TP Rehenesh on a free transfer. Rehenesh Thumbirumbu Paramba, affectionately known as TP Rehenesh, has signed a three-year contract with the reigning ISL Cup champions, securing his place with the team until the end of the 2027 season.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper boasts over a decade of experience in Indian football, having participated in various competitions. Throughout his notable career, Rehenesh has made 204 appearances in domestic tournaments, achieving 59 clean sheets along the way.
Rehenesh has played for some of the top teams in India and was a crucial part of Jamshedpur FC’s success in the 2021-22 season when they won the ISL League Winners’ Shield. During that season, he was instrumental for the Men of Steel, securing six clean sheets in 20 matches, showcasing his reliability and skill.

In the 2023-24 ISL season, Rehenesh demonstrated his exceptional shot-stopping and distribution skills by making a total of 61 saves. Besides his technical abilities, he is renowned for his leadership, strong communication, and ability to organize the defense from his position in goal. With Rehenesh joining, Mumbai City’s goalkeeping unit will greatly benefit from his extensive experience and quality.
