As Manchester City defeated Manchester United 2-1 in a historic, first all-Manchester final in the FA Cup at Wembley, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, PUMA ambassadors, were engaged in a conversation with FG, the Matchday Live presenter. Kohli, renowned as one of the greatest cricketers in history, and Sharma, an acclaimed actress, were both present at Wembley to witness City win their seventh FA Cup.
With Ilkay Gundogan netting two goals, either side of a Bruno Fernandes penalty for United, Pep Guardiola’s team secured a domestic double ahead of the Champions League final against Internazionale this weekend.
The couple are currently in London for World Test Championship final between India and Australia, which starts at The Oval on June 7. During halftime, while speaking to City Studios, they expressed their admiration for the remarkable atmosphere generated by the fans and the sheer pleasure of watching a Guardiola-led team in action.

“It’s been crazy and amazing,” said Sharma. “The kind of passion you get to see in a football game is unparalleled. We’re enjoying ourselves.”
Kohli agreed, stating: “The passion that we see with fans here, and how strongly they support their teams is something that’s incredible to watch. Watching Manchester City play is a great thing, because I follow the team pretty closely ever since I had a chat with Pep to understand his mindset.”
