Virat Kohli has revealed his next big goal and fans are going gaga over it. In a recent appearance during an event, the Indian cricketer was questioned about his next big step and his reply has created a spark all over social media. In recent times, there were several rumours that big stars like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli could think of retirement and some big decisions might be around the corner. Hinting about his upcoming plans, Kohli said, “The next big step, uh I don’t know, uh maybe try to win the next World Cup 2027.” This is no less than a promising statement for all the Kohli fans out there who will be eagerly waiting 2 years from now to see him in the Indian team.

In the 2023 World Cup, Kohli’s prominence took centre stage representing Team India. The legend gets himself the honour of receiving Player of the Tournament with a whooping 765 runs in total. Following this, Kohli contributed to the T20 World Cup 2024 final win against South Africa and then, in the recent Champions Trophy triumph also, he starred with bat. For now, he is involved in the ongoing IPL season.

Virat Kohli is currently enjoying his time with his IPL franchise, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) who are the current table toppers with two wins in two games. Despite being with this team since the inception of IPL, Kohli has failed to win this prestigious trophy till now and with that aim to bag this IPL title this time around, Kohli and RCB are expected to give their best. RCB defeated the defending champions KKR in their season opener and then, defeated CSK in Chennai for the first time since 2008.
