Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) CEO and co-owner, Kavya Maran was seen frustrated during yesterday’s IPL 2025 match between her team and Gujrat Titans (GT). Several videos and pics have gone viral on social media where Kavya was seen having gestures which clearly pointed out her frustration with her team’s performance.

Despite being the runner-up last season, SRH are now at the bottom of the points table with four consecutive losses. With just one win in five games, they have only two points with a net run rate of -1.629.

Despite having big names in its lineup, the team has not been able to deliver on the pitch, more so in terms of batting. Their inability to register big scores has led to back-to-back losses, which include the last match where they scored 152 in the loss of 8 wickets and the 80-run defeat against KKR when they got bowled out at 120 runs. What makes it worse is that they are not even winning in their home ground. In three matches so far in Hyderabad, they have won only once while losing the other two.

Here is the shard video on social media by fans:

SRH’s top batters have struggled to perform consistently in the IPL 2025

SRH retained core players for hefty amounts: Heinrich Klaasen at ₹23 crore, Pat Cummins at ₹18 crore, Abhishek Sharma at ₹14 crore, Travis Head at ₹14 crore, and Nitish Kumar Reddy at ₹6 crore. This talented core had generated hopes among fans for a dominating season, where fans thought to see a record-breaking total of 300+ but things have fallen apart completely.

In the upcoming matches, SRH need consistency, better strategies, and a rethinking of their batting approach if they want to get back their season on track to be alive in the race for the playoffs.
