James Anderson, the experienced England pace bowler, said the they will continue to keep attacking fields and look for wickets. The pace bowler also pointed out that the main goal is to entertain the fans who come to the ground.
At start of play on Day 5 of the first Ashes Test, Australia needed 174 runs with seven wickets still in hand. Usman Khawaja, the first-innings centurion, will be a key player. Travis Head, Alex Carey and Cameron Green too might have to play key roles.
“I think we will still set attacking fields. We kept the fielders up. Even yesterday the field was up. We want those catchers in play if the chance comes. What we are asked to do is entertain and send people home happy, and we have done that for four days.
“Nobody will be more disappointed if we don’t win. The process has not been worrying about the outcome. We are trying to do something special,” said James Anderson while speaking to BBC Sport ahead of Day 5.
