Pakistan defeated West Indies by 13 runs in the third and final T20I at Lauderhill in Florida to seal the three-match series 2-1.

Chasing 189 to win, the West Indies had several small partnerships but failed to build a match-defining stand. Opener Alick Athanaze top-scored for the hosts with a brisk 60 off 40 balls, hitting eight fours and a six at a strike rate of 150. Sherfane Rutherford also made a valiant effort with 51 off 35 deliveries, including four fours and three sixes at a strike rate of 145.71. However, their efforts were not enough, as West Indies ended their innings at 176/6 in 20 overs.

For Pakistan, left-arm spinner Sufiyan Muqeem was particularly economical, conceding just 20 runs in his four overs and picking up one wicket, playing a key role in restricting the run chase.

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first. Their openers provided a commanding start, with Sahibzada Farhan and Saim Ayub putting together a brilliant 138-run stand off just 98 balls. The duo laid the perfect foundation for a strong total.

Farhan starred with the bat, scoring 74 off 53 balls with three fours and five sixes at a strike rate of 139.62. Ayub complemented him well, making 66 from 49 balls at a strike rate of 134.69, including four boundaries and two sixes. Pakistan eventually posted a competitive 189/4 in their 20 overs.

Farhan was named Player of the Match for his superb knock, while all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz was declared Player of the Series for taking seven wickets across the three matches.
