Plenary session announcement
We will have 4 plenary sessions spread across two days. And while we announce them one by one, I am delighted to announce that on 7 March 2024, with just months before the International Olympic Committee – IOC Olympic Games in Paris, we will have a session with the two individuals who have made history for India at the Olympic Games- Abhinav A. Bindra OLY and Neeraj Chopra.
It will also have Adille Sumariwalla, President of the Athletics Federation of India donning the role of moderator.

Two very different journeys with the same ultimate goal- sporting excellence. Both are role models and have inspired us all. While Abhinav is giving back to society and making a huge difference to lives through life lessons learnt from sport, Neeraj continues to lead India’s Olympic challenge while breaking down multiple barriers. And in doing so, the AFI is helping him at every step in his journey. Contrary to the notion that Federations are all a mess, the AFI under Adille has done fantastic work at the junior and sub-junior level. The fact that India has won 29 medals in Athletics is testimony to the work done in the last decade.
