The team, led by double Olympic medallist PV Sindhu, reigning national champion Anmol Kharb, and women’s doubles pair Treesa-Gayatri, displayed an impressive performance.

– Tanisha Crasto/Ashwini Ponnappa lost to Liu Sheng Shu/Tan Ning with scores of 19-21, 16-21.

– Treesa Jolly/Gayatri Gopichand secured a victory against Li Yi Jing/Luo Xu Min with scores of 10-21, 21-18, 21-17.
