Pakistan vs Afghanistan ODI series in Sri Lanka ahead of Asia Cup

The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has announced a three-match ODI series against Pakistan to be played in Sri Lanka. These matches will be played from August 22-26. The first two matches will take place in Hambantota on 22nd and 24th, followed by the final ODI in Colombo on 26th.

The Pakistan team will assemble in Sri Lanka on August 17. Training sessions have been scheduled for August 19, 20 and 21. These ODIs will help the teams prepare for the 5 0-over Asia Cup, commencing on August 30, with Pakistan playing Nepal in Multan.

In their previous encounters, Pakistan have emerged victorious in all four ODIs against Afghanistan, with their last meeting taking place during the World Cup in 2019.
