Former India pacer Zaheer Khan and his wife, actress Sagarika Ghatge, have embraced parenthood, announcing the arrival of their baby boy on Wednesday. The couple introduced their son to the world as Fatehsinh Khan.
The heartwarming announcement was made via Instagram, where the couple posted an adorable family portrait. In the photo, Zaheer is seen tenderly holding their newborn, while Sagarika leans in lovingly, her hands resting on Zaheer’s shoulders.
Their caption read, “With love, gratitude, and divine blessings, we welcome our precious little baby boy, Fatehsinh Khan.” The post featured two touching images: one of Zaheer cradling their child, and another of the proud parents holding the baby’s tiny hand, offering a glimpse of the newborn’s face. On the field, Zaheer has been actively involved in the IPL 2025 season as the mentor of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), having taken over from current Indian men’s team head coach Gautam Gambhir, who returned to mentor the Kolkata Knight Riders last year. Under Zaheer’s guidance, LSG have performed admirably despite missing several key pacers.
With four wins from seven matches, LSG currently sit fifth in the table. Ahead of their upcoming clash against the Rajasthan Royals on Saturday in Jaipur, the team has received a timely boost as fast bowler Mayank Yadav has returned from injury and could be available for selection.
