Good Morning Kolkata! The inauguration session of TRAILBLAZERS, India’s biggest Sports Conclave got on with Olympic and Paralympic medalists Abhinav Bindra, Mirabai Chanu, Deepa Malik, and the representative of sponsors from the corporate on the stage.
Women’s empowerment and inclusivity are the central themes of this conclave. Mr. Boria Majumdar, founder of RevSportz highlighted the fact how important it is for media and corporate India to come forward to support sports in India apart from cricket.
Mr. Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President, of Corporate Services talked about Boria’s persistence to host this event which was in sync with sports in Tata Steel. In 1920 Dorabji Tata actually sponsored the first Indian Olympic team. He highlighted women’s empowerment, inclusivity, and the contribution of Tata Steel both in corporate and sports.
All athletes came together to light the inaugural lamp with Mr. Chanakya Chaudhary which marked the formal start of TRAILBLAZERS conclave.
