RevSportz was built by a journalist, for journalists. With the vision of covering sports the way it’s meant to be – on ground. It aimed to break the shackles of a studio setup and bring to the viewers updates straight from the field. That the real story lives on the ground, in mixed zones, training pitches, press boxes, empty stands after full-time, and in conversations that don’t fit into headlines. From day one, the vision was clear: cover sport the way it is meant to be covered, by being present where the real action happens.

Not only that, the team makes conscious decisions everyday to make sure that there is no bias when it comes to the coverage of non-cricket, Para, and women’s sport. Covering them with the same seriousness, depth, and respect as mainstream cricket has been central to what RevSportz stands for. It is hard work. It demands resources, persistence, and patience. But it also reflects a commitment to telling the full story. The team strives day in and out to uphold that very vision and when the hard work is recognised by the industry, it sure is a good day.

At the ENBA awards, RevSportz won six major awards – Bronze for the Best News Coverage for the Paris Olympics 2024, Silver for the Best Talk Show for Backstage with Boria, Silver for Best Anchor to Boria Majumdar, Silver for the Best Marketing Campaign for the Trailblazer Conclave 2.0 which highlighted the ability to build meaningful sporting ecosystems beyond daily news, Silver for the Best in-depth series coverage for the Paris Olympics 2024 and Gold for the Best Digital Sports News Channel stood as a validation of the overall journey.

The team behind RevSportz, both on and off the field. From producers, to editors, to the team that looks after management, to the team that makes the graphics and thumbnails; everyone works hard everyday; long hours, relentless travel, tight deadlines, and the constant pressure to get it right are part of the job. Recognition is never the goal, but when that work is acknowledged by the industry, it becomes a moment to pause and take stock. And that is what made the evening at the ENBA Awards a truly special one. Six awards, yes. But more importantly, a reaffirmation that journalism rooted in honesty, presence, and purpose still matters. And on days like these, it truly feels like a good day.
