Promising Indian cricketer Riyan Parag has singled out Virat Kohli as his ultimate inspiration, emphasizing the strong alignment between his thoughts about the game and the inputs he receives from the iconic Indian batter.

Parag’s exceptional performance in the ongoing Deodhar Trophy has been a highlight. His remarkable contributions with both bat and ball have been pivotal in guiding his team, East Zone, to the finals against South Zone. “Virat Kohli has always been my inspiration. While there are other outstanding batsmen in our generation, I connect closely with Kohli. Our conversations are insightful, and I understand his perspective well. His guidance is something I truly value,” Parag told BCCI.

Parag has amassed an impressive 259 runs in just four matches, at an average of 86.33 and a strike rate of 133.50. Among his standout performances are a couple of hundreds.
