Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain Smriti Mandhana praised her team for executing their plans well in an eight-wicket victory against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 11th match of WPL 2026.

Speaking at the post-match presentation ceremony, Mandhana, who was also adjudged the Player of the Match, said: “It was amazing to see the way everyone bowled, especially in the first three overs to get their four down. Sayali coming in on debut and getting those two crucial wickets and then Bell doing what Bell does best. But again, I mean, the way Shafali was going, she was looking really good and then we changed our plans and tried to bowl, give her a single. And I feel everyone really executed their plans well.”

Lauren Bell and Sayali Satghare were brilliant at the start of DC’s innings as they ran through the top order. DC lost four wickets within the first two overs, and half the side was gone for 69 runs in the eighth over. Shafali Verma was the only batter who showed some resistance and took DC to 166 with her knock of 62. Bell picked up three wickets, while Sayali, who was making her debut, also claimed three wickets.

In reply, Mandhana led from the front and scored 96 off 61 balls, including 13 fours and three sixes, at a strike rate of 157.38. Georgia Voll also played an important innings of an unbeaten 54 off 42 balls. RCB chased down the target with 10 balls to spare and remained unbeaten in the tournament with four wins in four matches.
