The Bengaluru leg of the ACG Jr. NBA 3v3 National Tournament, a nationwide school-level competition for Under-14 boys’ and girls’ teams, concluded successfully at the iconic Sree Kanteerava Stadium.

As per the tournament format, the top two boys’ and girls’ teams from each zone, along with one All-Star team from both divisions in every zone, will qualify for the ACG Jr. NBA 3v3 National Finals Tournament, scheduled to take place early this year.

Standout performers from the Bengaluru leg were also recognised for their consistent displays. Linisha R. of Delhi Public School Bangalore South was named the Skechers MVP in the U14 Girls category, while Krish Chawda from Oakridge International School, Gachibowli, received the Skechers MVP Award in the U14 Boys division for their outstanding performances throughout the tournament.

Now in its 12th edition, the ACG Jr. NBA program is being conducted in partnership with ACG and the Basketball Federation of India (BFI), with Skechers serving as the official kit partner.

In the U14 Boys category, Oakridge International School, Gachibowli emerged as champions, represented by Krish Chawda, Sidanth Kolla, Arjun Dhaduvai and Yuvan T Govindraj. Delhi Public School Bangalore South finished as runners-up with Aditya Reddy K, Pranit Bhargava, Ronit Mahapatra and Shaurya Sharma forming the squad. The Bengaluru All-Star Team featured Pranav from Neev Academy, Pranav from Chrysalis High School Yelahanka, Shreyan from The Chirec International School Bengaluru, and Siddhesh from Chrysalis High School Varthur.

The U14 Girls title was clinched by Delhi Public School Bangalore South, with Pavithra D. Shenoy, Linisha R., Amulya Umesh and Samitha Udupa playing key roles. St. Joseph’s Convent Girls High School, Bengaluru finished as first runners-up, represented by Risha Roopesh Kumar, Lagna M. Gowda, Shreeja R. Deshpande and Shreekari R. Deshpande. The All-Star Team Bengaluru in the girls’ category included Tia from Delhi Public School Bangalore East, Saanvi from Delhi Public School Bangalore North, Mythri from Delhi Public School Hyderabad, and Livdeep from Delhi Public School Bangalore East.

The 2025–26 ACG Jr. NBA 3v3 National Tournament features both boys’ and girls’ divisions, with school teams participating from across India. The tournament is being hosted in multiple cities, including Ludhiana, Chennai, Udaipur, New Delhi, Guwahati, Bengaluru, Prayagraj, Mumbai, Kochi and Indore.

The ACG Jr. NBA initiative continues to focus on teaching the fundamentals and values of basketball, aiming to make a positive impact on young athletes across the country. Since its introduction in India in 2013, the Jr. NBA program has reached over 15 million youth and 15,000 physical education instructors across 35 cities. The program is part of the NBA’s wider grassroots basketball development efforts in India, which also include NBA Basketball School, a network of fee-based training programmes for boys and girls aged 6 to 18, operated by India On Track in 13 cities nationwide.
